Mike Sheridan is one of the youngest established composers, producers and DJ's in Denmark.
Born in Copenhagen in 1991 he has already played gigs all over Denmark and parts of Europe, composed and performed music for a ballet, reinterpreted and performed Revolution 9 (The Beatles White Album) – live - for a Scandinavian-wide TV extravaganza and also finds time to run DR Electronica (internet radio channel) for the Danish National Radio.

Sheridan represents a new breed of artist – he combines a natural flair for programming complex electronic gear with innate musicality and both the desire and talent to make his own way in an industry undergoing constant change.

Simona Abdallah
Simona was born 1979 in Germany, from Palestinian parents. She grew up in Denmark and today has her home in Copenhagen.

She plays Arabic percussion, especially darbuka, despite the fact that this is considered a masculine instrument, and almost always played by men. Therefore she is one of very few women in the world from The Middle East who play’s this instrument professionally.

Simona is self-taught and has been playing since she was 15. One of her goals is to record an album that fuses western music, rock, house and pop with the Middle Eastern rhythm. To facilitate a meeting of cultures is a wish close to Simonas heart.

 Polyfon er et dansk retrosynthband, dedikeret til lyden af elektropop, post-punk og new wave fra de tidlige 1980ere, men i moderne fortolkning.

Bandets grundlæggere mødtes i 2006, og har siden da arbejdet med at skrive et større sangkatalog og med at forfine det instrumentale udtryk.

For at understøtte den retro-elektroniske lyd, har bandet opbygget en større samling af såvel klassiske som sjældne og karakteristiske synthesizere og trommemaskiner.

Dette giver bandet en ganske særlig lyd, som adskiller sig væsentligt fra andre elektroniske bands.

 From Organic Audio (Tummy Touch), Sonik (Delancey Street/Scenario), United Chutney Jam (www.gaialive.com) there is one constant Michael Alfanso Thompson. The British born Music lover, DJ, producer and capturer of moments started recording mix tapes from pirate radio stations, like Invicta etc, in the 1980's on his grandmas old portable cassette player.

The late 1980's early 90's was House music and raves and all that that entailed. He skipped through the free wheeling 1990's UK music scene, where beats were king and if you could fart into a can, and record it, a new label could maybe sell 500 copies, he has seen a lot.

Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Pressure Drop, Kahuna Brothers, Chemical Brothers, Terry Francis, Tayo, Dave Davis, Mr Scruff, Soul II Soul, LTJ Bukem (some say they are long lost twins) Goldie, Ross Allen and Freakniks to name but a few, he has witnessed the rise of Break Beat, Drum n Bass, Down-beat and all of the sub genres of inbetween.

He has DJed in the UK and Europe. Touring with Delancey Street, Tummmy Touch aswell as having his own show The United Chutney Jam on www.gaialive.com in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Now in Denmark he has settled in Nørrebro. Working with Henrik Thomsen at Basslab (DK) (wwww.basslab.com) his musical curiosity has once again been awakened. A chance meeting with Ole from High End Tentacles in Basslab led to a link up which could be the start of a whole new musical chapter/verse, and hopefully a chorus too.

Rahman was born in Iran in 1961 and has almost always drawn and painted. He has lived 25 years in Denmark, where he has exhibited a myriad of places. Also several locations abroad have benefited from Rahman's paintings, among which include Gallery Cobra.dk, Gallery Sous Terre in Holland, and Monarchy in Iran."

STATE OF MIND is the Nom de Guerre of Kim Bonfils, a Danish keyboard player and multiinstumentalist, with a long career as songwriter and musician on the Danish art rock scene.

His solo project STATE OF MIND merges the classic singer-songwriter tradition and minimalist electronica with a distinct retro flavour. Songs with an off-beat edge reminiscent of Serge Gainsbourg or Daniel Johnson are set in an unusual and synthetic soundscape – evoking Kraftwerk and Brian Eno.

Kim Bonfils handles all instruments and programming, creating a simplistic, often drum-less sound, carried mainly by synthesizers and vocals.

The songs of STATE OF MIND explore the complex workings of the human psyche. From the eye-opening epiphanies to the destructive thought patterns that turn us into helpless bystanders to our own lives.
